Origin of the Ashera cat

The Ashera cat is a direct descendant of the Asian leopard, the African serval, and the common domestic cat. It was developed at the beginning of the 21st century through genetic manipulation in the United States, specifically by the Lifestyle Pets laboratory.

After a few generations of testing, they managed to develop the current Ashera cat, an undoubtedly unique hybrid. However, you should know that the breed is still under observation.

Ashera cat characteristics

The Ashera cat is taller than a conventional cat: it can reach one and a half meters in height and between 12 and 15 kilograms in weight: it is a really big cat. His physical complexion is strong and robust, beautiful in his appearance and movements. If we want to adopt an Ashera cat, we must be very clear about the adult size that it will reach. To guide us, it is similar to that of a medium or large dog. The eyes are usually green or honey colored.

On the other hand, we must highlight the four types of ashera cat that exist:

• Common ashera cat: It is the main ashera cat figure that was developed. It stands out for its cream color and distinctive brown spots.
• Hypoallergenic Ashera cat: Its appearance is exactly the same as the one mentioned above. They only differ by having a coat that does not cause allergies.
• Snowy ashera cat: This variety of the ashera cat is known as “white ashera” since it shows a whitish entire body with intense amber patches.
• Ashera royal cat: This variant is the least known and also the most rare and “exclusive”. It can be cream-colored with black and orange spots or stripes. Of course, its appearance is much more intense and peculiar.
